Embassy originally opened as a service company and this  forms a vital part of the business and we are currently trying to grow our customer base through providing a skilled professional service at a competitive price.

The service division consists of Operations Director Jacques Claassen, Service Managers Steven Reid, Marius Kuun, plus we have nine registered technicians with gas licences who are able to work on all types of A/C equipment as well sign compliance certificates for air conditioning as well as electrical installations.

Due to the huge shortage of skills in the market place we have focused a lot of attention on training our staff and currently have six technicians booked into Learnerships via Techniskills as well as carrying out our own in-house training and regular training via the major equipment suppliers.

The strength of our service department depends on technical skills as well as good administration and we have two admin ladies Abigail Dos Santos and Kapurthala Rosslind  logging in calls, scheduling maintenance following up with customers and attending to the general admin support required for the efficient operation of the department.

We have recently installed a digital service desk whereby all the technicians are armed with tablets onto which jobcards are sent from the central service desk, the customers A/C equipment is provided with an identifying barcode which the technician is able to scan immediately accessing our server and  bringing up the history of the unit and details of any prior faults. The technician is able to communicate back to the office using the tablet by taking photos etc in order to request spares or solve a technical problem. The client is able to sign off the job on the tablet.

Our service workshop is fitted with all the equipment required to repair all makes and types of A/C units as well as being used for in-house training.

We currently have six fault finding and repair teams plus four servicing teams on the road and are looking to increase these and our skills level via learnerships.
